I'm Aisha. 26. Yes I'm Muslim, that's not a line, that's just me. I grew up in a strict Hyderabadi family, came to Mumbai at 22, never went back.

People are surprised when they find out Muslim girls do this. I understand the surprise. It's a closed community, the women don't talk about sex publicly, forget actually doing this. That's exactly why I'm here. I got tired of rules that only applied to women.

I don't hide my background, I'm proud of where I'm from. But I'm also not the girl I was supposed to be, and I decided that's fine. I was made for more than being a quiet wife to someone I didn't choose.

I'm soft in person. Not loud, not aggressive. Just someone who made her mind up a long time back.
